Coronavirus: Ensuring the Safety of our Instructors and Students

Following are steps Oriel STAT A MATRIX is taking to ensure we continue to provide a safe environment for customers, staff, consultants, and instructors, both in Oriel STAT A MATRIX public seminars and on-site client facilities. We cannot predict the full extent of the coronavirus outbreak; however, by taking these measures we are confident in being able to mitigate the impact on the delivery of our services over the coming months.

We will continue to monitor the progression of the virus globally and take the appropriate steps in order to limit the impact for all concerned.

Oriel STAT A MATRIX Service Delivery Considerations

Oriel STAT A MATRIX Consultants and Instructors

Oriel STAT A MATRIX has identified whether any employees or instructors have travelled from any of the affected countries / regions or has knowingly been in contact with someone who  has been infected with the virus, within the last 14 days (incubation period). Those identified have been asked to self-quarantine at their home location for 14 days, with employees working remotely and instructors restricted to virtual classroom and/or remote delivery only during this time.

On-site Delivery Protocol – Training and Consulting

Since we share responsibility with our hosts (hotels, corporations), we are making the following efforts to ensure a safe engagement environment.

  • Ensuring that our facilities:
    • Disinfect surfaces in public and private areas
    • Follow hygiene practices for meals and snacks
  • Modifying our standard training format to:
    • Allow for more space between student seats
    • Limited class sizes

Virtual Delivery Options – Training

For customers who are currently enrolled in a public seminar and have a concern about in-class attendance or are in self-quarantine, we will provide an option to reschedule for a later date.  For some classes we will provide an option to join remotely via our virtual classroom platform. The transition to virtual attendance for both public courses and on-site training will be reviewed on a per-course delivery and should have limited impact on the customer experience.

Virtual Delivery Options – Consulting

For our audit customers, if there is a concern about the on-site portion of the audit, contact us regarding virtual audit options.

General Considerations

We strongly encourage the following behaviors on your part:

  • Stay home if you’re sick or not feeling well
  • Wait at least 24 hours after a fever to come to class
  • Wash your hands frequently and use hand sanitizers
  • No handshaking, and avoid touching your own face
  • Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your elbow

Oriel STAT A MATRIX will continue to closely monitor the decisions of airlines, event venues, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization. The health of our staff and our clients is our highest priority.
