Course Details Objectives Learn how to lead a team through the DMAIC method and train team members on steps, outputs, and approaches. Describe and apply advanced statistical tools in support of the DMAIC method; define project team roles and responsibilities. Develop, try out, and implement solutions that address root causes and use data to evaluate your solutions. Control the process and maintain gains by standardizing work methods or processes, anticipating future improvements, and preserving the lessons from your project. Topics DEFINE: starting your project, Voice of the Customer (VOC) MEASURE: process mapping, data collection and analysis ANALYZE: identifying and verifying causes, including advanced statistics IMPROVE: generating, choosing, planning, and implementing solutions CONTROL: control tools (e.g., control charts), standardization, communication and future plans Who Should Attend Six Sigma Black Belt candidates should have proven leadership and interpersonal skills as well as an unwavering commitment to success. Potential attendees must preselect a qualified Six Sigma project and provide evidence of successful completion of Green Belt training. The training includes Minitab; attendees are responsible for bringing laptops with Minitab 17 software. Following successful completion of the training and final exam, candidates seeking certification are required to complete a detailed report of a successful Six Sigma project.
