AS9100 > 2009 AQMS Updates and Transition Programs

All three AQMS standards were revised in 2009

AS9100C was released in January 2009, and AS9110A and AS9120A were released in June of that year. The new releases incorporate recent changes to ISO 9001:2008—which was updated in November 2008—while introducing new requirements for aviation, space, and defense companies. The common requirements represent the combined effort of aviation, defense, and space industry manufacturers and suppliers; civil airworthiness authorities; certification/registration bodies; as well as related trade associations to create a unifying standard.

All Oriel STAT A MATRIX training courses incorporate the 2009 AQMS revisions

In response to the 2009 AQMS revisions, Oriel STAT A MATRIX has incorporated the AS9100C requirements into our training courses, providing auditors, including internal auditors, with a good background in the standard. As a result, these auditors will be able to jumpstart their organizations’ transition to the AS9100C. In addition, we are offering a 2-day course, Transitioning to AS9100C (TRD), which focuses on the key AS9100C changes, and a 3-day course, Successfully Navigating an AS9100C CB Audit (SND), describing the updated aerospace CB audit process and what organizations need to do to ensure they are ready for their recertification audit. These courses run back to back, and can be taked together for a comprehensive understanding of the new requirements and the auditing changes.

Oriel STAT A MATRIX can provide directed consulting services to ensure that your organization has the necessary tools to obtain registration when audited against AS9100C.
